We are now halfway through the season with LAFC hitting the road for their match against FC Dallas this evening. After a fantastic start to the championship defense, the team has hit a bit of a wall as of late. While the results have been far from awful and the team still sits tied on points atop the Western Conference, the black & gold aim to find a bit more consistency as they hit the final stretch before a month-long break from MLS action.

“We’d like start this next stretch of games, before the bigger break, on the right foot” said Head Coach Steve Cherundolo during his opening statements while speaking to media ahead of tonight’s match. The Lone Star State has had its way with LAFC this season, especially recently. The team has only won two of their last five matches, getting shutout in a combined 5-0 loss over two matches against the Houston Dynamo. However, LAFC did secure the 2-1 win at home against FC Dallas when the two met back in March.
