There are just four matches left in the MLS Regular Season. 12 points left up for grabs, and as surprising as it may sound considering how sluggish this year started, LAFC are in prime position to go into the postseason not just riding a win streak, but possible even sitting atop the Western Conference. The team are set to host Atlanta United tonight, in the first of what is their last two matches at home before the MLS Playoffs begin.

Atlanta United come into this one with nothing but a bit of pride on the line. Sitting next to dead last in the Eastern Conference, they have been well out of the playoff race for a while and are just looking to finish the season as strong as they can. Their last five matches has seen them win one, draw two and lose two. They have lost two of their last three outings, conceding eight goals combined in their last three. Now, they get set for a very potent Los Angeles attack, on the road. Miguel Almiron and Aleksey Miranchuk will be the focal points in the United attack as they look to come away with the shock result in Los Angeles.
LAFC are currently riding four match win streak that has seen the goals pile up for the black & gold. They have scored 15 goals combined in those four wins, and most impressively have looked even better defensively the last month. They have conceded just five goals in their last five matches, securing a shutout in their most recent win. Now, the team are back home for their last home stand before playoffs begin and they will be looking to put on a show. With International break hitting, this is likely the last time home fans will see Son and Bouanga until the postseason, as both have been called up to represent their respective Nations, later this week. As for this match, expect the attack to be as aggressive as ever as Bouanga continues his personal push in the Golden Boot race, with Sonny playing perfect partner as he has vowed to do all he can to help his new friend stack up the goals.
