It’s another match day weekend for LAFC, taking the trip to Texas to face off against the Houston Dynamo. After slogging through a three-match losing skid that saw the black & gold eliminated from two competitions, the team was able to break the streak with a, somewhat disappointing, draw at home their last time out. Now, Los Angeles is headed to Houston to go up against the Dynamo for the first time this season.

LAFC currently hold the slight advantage over Houston in their last five matches, with a record of 2-2-1 (W-D-L) with a 3-1 win at home the last time these two met. Houston have had a mixed bag of results lately as they navigate MLS and US Open Cup matches. Their last match was a 4-1 win to send them to the semifinals of the USOC, and now, they are back in MLS action with a chance at jumping into one of the final playoff spots. For LAFC, after ending their aforementioned losing streak with a draw, they now aim to get back into the column and back into the fight for the top spot in the conference.
