“Angel City is built on purpose and passion. I’m extremely grateful to be part of an organization and fan base that believes in one another and stands for something bigger than the game,” said Suarez in a statement. “We are united by the same goal, to bring championships to LA, and I’ll give everything I have to help turn that dream into reality.”
“Taylor has been one of the most impactful attackers in the college game, playing for 2025 National Champion Florida State, and we couldn’t be happier to bring her to Angel City,” said ACFC Sporting Director Mark Parsons said in a statement. “She is a very dynamic attacker who can punish opponents through combination play or on the dribble. We are excited to bring a young talent of this quality and look forward to her creativity in an Angel City jersey for years to come.”
Suarez arrives in Los Angeles fresh off helping Florida State win the 2025 NCAA National Championship, leaving school as a sophomore spending two years with the Seminoles. She made 36 appearances with 26 starts and in her time in college she scored eight goals, served up 14 assists and logged just under 2,000 minutes. This past season she earned Second Team All-American honors, as well as Second Team All-ACC and was selected to the NCAA Tournament All-Tournament Team.
Suarez is another player that arrives from college with some international experience having represented United States across multiple youth levels. She received her first national team call-up in 2017 for U-17, and in 2022 she played a pivotal role in the CONCACAF’s Women’s U-17 Championship, providing the game-winning assist against Mexico in the final. She was part of the U-17 squad that competed in the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup where she scored a goal. She most recently was part of the U-20 squad that competed in the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup where the team won Bronze.
Suarez is another talented young midfielder that brings a lot of creativity, ball skills, and goal-scoring prowess at every level she has played at so far. We have mentioned before, Angel City could use all the help they can get in the middle of the pitch, but with how well Suarez does going forward, it wouldn’t surprise to see her in a more forward/attacking role down the line as well as the team also look to find ways to replace the productivity in the wake of Alyssa Thompson’s departure.
